Arizona Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Division

Went there on 16th of January 2024 with declaration of sale from 2 vehicles I purchased from a storage auction. Was told they need to be notarized, had the forms notarized went back Feb. 5th to get my titles after I've already completed level 1 and 2 inspection amd was told the forms don't need to be notarized Today Feb. 5th I also found out they copied the original forms on the 16th initial visit and gave me back copies. They now don't accept any form that's not the original. The supervisor either can't hear for anything or just didn't listen, the third time I told her your department has the originals already, she once again insisted I go get originals. Terrible service, to go there and spend 30 minutes 3 times for the same thing. Not cool, they are comfortable burning you for thousands over simple mistakes they make and don't own up to, didn't even appear they wanted to look into it... my time is not valued there, always creating more work for the consumers "their customers" The east side location is atleast a little more customer oriented and will atleast attempt to give you a resolution. Any rep you talk to will give you a slightly different answer aswell as the managers are not trained to 1 formatted system. Serious lack of training or lack of effective procedures and process. None the less resulting in lost finances / time and an unpleasant experience at mvd in arizona all around. No wonder people drive around without valid credentials, likely some of it contributed to mvd's lack of desire to actually assist residents of Arizona perhaps. If they do desire this, that's not what I've witnessed.

I don't mind coming here. I've never had to wait long, the prices are alot less than their substations and the people working there have always been kind and very helpful. I would rather pay 4.00 here to do a title transfer than 15.00 at one of their substations. I paid 60.00 for an inspection for an abandoned vehicle at their substation and 8.00 at the main office on Broadmont. 52.00 difference.

I went to help my mom get a disability parking identification, and others along with myself got our HIPPA law violated. This law is called The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) and is a federal law that required the creation of national standards to protect sensitive patient health information from being disclosed without the patient's consent or knowledge. I went to sit down because of a surgery I recently had. A woman who worked at this location asked me and others, directly what was our medical condition and asked why we were sitting. I felt very disrespected and that my federal law named HIPPA was violated.

Let me start by saying that DMV is not a place I like to visit myself, unless I have no choice. That said,my experience with this particular branch was beyond great ELAINE was VERY VERY HELPFUL for my couple of visits. Besides her great sense of humor,she was soooo professional with me and a trouble costumer before me. I wish more people like her would be hired when it comes to costumer services. Thank you ELAINE, I don't know your last name but I don't think the are a bunch of great employees like you over there. She deserves to be compensated .

Did a walk in to get a replacement driving license and was grateful for and really impressed by the professionalism, courtesy and efficiency of all the staff here. Despite the long line of people, the staff here gave everyone their full attention and did everything they could to get everyone sorted out. The line moved so quickly , I honestly couldn't believe it. These guys are incredible. They are an amazing team here and I am thankful for all their hard work.
